I teach the martial art of BJJ in Portsmouth, Hampshire Uk, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most popular martial arts in the world and for good reason. It is highly effective for self defence and has been proven effective for fighting in MMA Mixed Martial Arts competition. I teach group classes and 1-2-1 private lessons and the teaching always features calm patient and friendly communication with a focus on building the correct technique and understanding the details and concepts that make the art work. I have been training for over 14 years and am experienced in both teaching and competition. I won the BJJ British Open in 2019 and I am a multiple gold, silver and bronze medalist at national and international competition level. My classes and sessions always feature a positive, friendly atmosphere and high quality effective training.
